Journey back to the days when giant paddle wheelers steamed up the Mississippi River and Mark Twain was just a boy at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside. Here, you’ll discover all the warmth and hospitality of the South as a guest in either the stately mansion or in one of the country cottages that line a picture-perfect Mississippi-style waterway. The resort also features Ol’ Man Island, a recreation area with a stocked fishing hole, plus water slides, swimming and playgrounds.
Each guest room can comfortably sleep four with two double beds (some king-size beds available). Alligator Bayou rooms add an additional trundle bed to accommodate five guests for an additional charge. Beyond the rooms, the main house includes a wide array of themed shopping and dining venues featuring varied menus and cuisine. Pizza delivery is available to your room, as well.
Additional facilities include pedal boat, canopy boat and pontoon boat rentals, a Medicine Show Arcade game room for kids and access to five championship Walt Disney World Resort golf courses with free transportation.

Boatwright’s Dining Hall – Enjoy classic American favorites in a relaxing waterfront environment. This restored boat-construction warehouse is a shipbuilder’s paradise along the Sassagoula River. Home-style meals include heapin’ “Tin Pans” for breakfast and tantalizing Southern entrées for dinner.
Riverside Mill Food Court – Soak up the scenery and the Cajun spices as you dine near the 32-foot water wheel that operates a working cotton press.
